 Homemade Hair Detangler I have a son with thick hair who has about as much love for maintaining his follicles as any 11-year-old boy. As such, he can get knots pretty quickly so I developed this very simple, light but effective detangler to get us through those, um, hairier moments. Consistent with the approach of our Home Eco ethos, this is made with natural, simple ingredients you can find in any home. 8 ounces warm water 1 teaspoon unscented aloe vera gel 1/2 teaspoon cruelty-free leave-in conditioner 2 to 3 drops essential oil (optional) such as rose, grapefruit, or lavender Combine the water, aloe vera gel, conditioner and optional essential oil in a small spray bottle; shake until combined.
