Leave-In Hair Conditioner

Leave-In Hair Conditioner

With curly, thick hair, I tend toward fly-aways and frizzies if I don’t moisturize my hair well. Using a leave-in conditioner has been very nice for my hair, but, as someone who is always trying to save some money, I wondered how I could extend the use of my conditioner a little bit. Many leave-in conditioners can also be quite heavy, leaving our hair a little flat. This leave-in conditioner uses just a small amount of your favorite conditioner (can be leave-in or the regular variety) and stretches out the life of it so it lasts a lot longer. The result is a light but effective leave-in conditioner that will leave your hair shiny, healthy and soft but is also thrifty to make.

Leave-In Hair Conditioner

1 spray bottle
1/2 cup distilled water
2 tablespoons conditioner
2 teaspoons melted coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil
10 drops rosemary essential oil or other favorite scent, optional

Combine the distilled water, conditioner, oil and essential oil into your spray bottle, shake, and apply to wet hair. Shake it up before using each time to distribute the oil. Voila!
