Cranberry Apple Sparkling Drink
with Cranberry Ice Cubes
Overdoing
it on the sugary foods this season? It’s hard to avoid with all the
temptation around us from Thanksgiving until we start being little
angels again on Jan. 1. A lot of the commercial sparkling juices are
delicious but very high in sugar. This is a low-sugar drink you can
enjoy with a great seasonal appeal and not a lot of calories. Plus,
polyphenols, the antioxidant compound found in cranberries, has been
shown to help improve circulation and kidney function. Kids and adults
alike can enjoy it; if it’s too sour for a young palate, just add a bit
more apple juice. The cranberry ice cubes are completely unnecessary
but a little festive touch.
Cranberry Apple Sparkling Drink

two in each compartment, and fill the rest of the way with water.
