Spicy Tahini Sauce

Spicy Tahini Sauce

Looking for a quick and easy sauce that won’t heat up your kitchen and mess up pans? This Spicy Tahini Sauce is so simple to make and full of flavor, you’ll want to make it all the time. A great sauce to drizzle over grilled veggies with, mix into a grain salad or you name it. The sauce is fairly spicy but if you prefer a milder spice, reduce the harissa and cayenne pepper.

Spicy Tahini Sauce

½ cup tahini
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
3 teaspoons prepared harissa, homemade or purchased
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon pressed garlic
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Water to thin out sauce
(I used about ½ cup)

Mix together all the ingredients up to the water until it is thick but combined. Add the water by the tablespoon until it reaches the consistency you are looking for and keep refrigerated until using. It will thicken when cold; just add more water to thin.
